Creative Arts Therapy Source strives to make the billing process seamless and hassle free for you.
Creative Arts Therapy Source is out-of-network with insurance companies, however our dedicated billing specialist assists patients with all aspects of the insurance process, from checking your benefits, to filling eligible claims on your behalf.
We would be happy to verify your out-of-network benefits before your first visit. Unlike many out-of-network providers, we submit claims on your behalf, and manage most insurance correspondence regarding your claims.
We can accept the following insurance plans out of network based on your individual plan: Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Emblem, GHI, Oxford, and United. It is possible for services to be covered in full or part when you use your out of network benefits.
We currently do not accept any government based insurance such as Medicaid or Medicare.
If you have an insurance deductible or wish to opt out of using your insurance you can expect to pay between $150 and $195 per session for individual therapy and between $225-$285 for couples/family therapy sessions.
What are the benefits of opting out of using my insurance to pay for therapy?
While we understand there are times you need to use insurance (and we fully support that!) as soon as insurance pays: they have a right to see your records any time they would like, you must have an official mental health diagnosis, and they have control over how long you may attend therapy. Again, we at Creative Arts Therapy Source fully support using insurance and having a diagnosis when it helps someone access services and get more support.
We accept payment via credit/debit card, HSA & FSA cards
