Group and Creative Arts Therapy
When you face challenges such as the loss of a loved one, chronic illness, or depression, you can feel isolated and alone. Group therapy can immediately address that issue, giving you the opportunity to interact with others who are facing similar struggles. A group therapy session can give you the chance to gain an outside perspective on your own challenges while helping others with theirs.
We offer regular group therapy sessions for people who struggle with:
Spousal loss: Grief over the loss of a spouse can linger, whether you’ve lost your spouse recently or whether years have gone by. Come to terms with your painful feelings with the help of others who have also lost their spouse.
Parent loss: The loss of a parent can be a difficult thing to shake, whether you were a child at the time or not. Gain a new understanding of your grief with people who have also lost parents.
Anxiety: Anxiety can rule your life in the worst ways, so our group focuses on ways to decrease anxiety and gain more confidence and control.
Adoption: If you’ve been adopted, you may have strong, complex emotions about the circumstances of your adoption or your adoptive situation. We offer a safe space to articulate and understand these challenges alongside other adoptees.
Along with talk therapy, we also offer creative arts therapy to our groups. Use this creative outlet to explore your feelings, discover more about yourself, and heal with the help of a supportive and understanding group.
